What is Preschool Picnic

Preschool Picnic is a social group for families with young children. Our community gathers weekly on Thursday Mornings at various green spaces and local attractions in Hampton Roads, primarily on the south side.  We begin with a short circle time followed by lots of play time.

Mission Statement

The mission of Preschool Picnic is to build a supportive community of families with young children (ages 0-6 years) who meet regularly for social activities to play, connect, and grow together.

About Us

We are a secular, non-profit, social group that honors children as human beings, inherently deserving of respect and autonomy. We support children’s rights to play outside and in mixed-age groups while learning and interacting at their own unique developmental stage. We are a community for families to connect, support, build friendships, and grow together.
